- I love meeting new people and making friends since I just moved to Norwalk a year ago. Going out dancing, traveling, and being spontaneous is my thing. Friends who know me said that they all thought I was mean because of my looks, but let me assure you I m nothing like that. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother from my mom side, and I have 1 sister from my dads side me being the oldest.
I felt a connection with the wife in the story by Raymond Carverin Cathedral. My boyfriend reminded me of the jealous husband who was bothered by the blind friend. In my case, the blind friend tends to symbolize one of my best friends Jessica (whom is not really blind). I met Jessica at my job where we got hired together. My boyriend was always jealous of her because I would go out with her and see her more often then I would see him. Once he had the chance to meet her his whole perspective of her changed. They ended up getting along real well. Anyways, everyone needs to give eachother a chance before judging them.

ReplyDeleteThe story "Where You Going? Where You Been?" by Joyce Carol Oates was really creepy. The story made me want to read until the end. I was very disappointed with the ending. I wanted to know more details about what was going to happen with her. I wanted to know what Arnold was going to do with Connie.
